We are seeking a Compensation Analyst to work in our Corporate Headquarters based out of McLean, VA. The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting various compensation processes and programs and will report to the Director of Compensation.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end annual performance review processes, including merit increase process. Includes development and delivery of training to the management team and HR staff, accurate and timely delivery and upload of data, and employee communications.

  • Participate in multiple external compensation surveys and maintain survey results.

  • Conduct job analysis and market pricing, including internal and external competitive analysis for fixed and variable pay, and employee FLSA and job classification recommendations, partnering closely with the Talent Acquisition team.

  • Participate in the administration of various compensation programs, including annual bonuses and other incentives plans.

  • Manage and administer Long-Term Incentive Programs and ensure accurate administration, payment, and communication.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and training materials for various audiences, including Senior Leadership.

  • Provide support in the development and maintenance of salary structures.

  • Advise as a subject matter expert on a variety of compensation topics

Education/Experience

  • 3-5 years of progressive compensation-related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in human resources management or proven equivalent experience.

  • CCP designation a plus

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expert-level Excel skills required

  • Strong PowerPoint skills a plus

  • Broad knowledge and practice of compensation areas

  • Experience in the management, and communication of compensation programs

  • Must be an excellent communicator (both written & oral), able to present informative executive level presentations about compensation with clarity and accuracy and possess the ability to provide accurate and professional work product

  • Must be extremely detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills

  • Excellent time management skills a must

  • Must be self-motivated and work as part of a team

  • Outstanding customer service skills – a commitment to consistent outstanding customer service and an ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high degree of accuracy, insightful information

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
